EVIDENCE COLLECTION

An RPL interview is organized. This assessment involves the assessor and the candidate participating in several competency conversations If any third-party evidence has been requested, the workplace is provided with a ‘Workplace Guide’. This guide outlines the RPL process and provides a list of questions and observations that are required to complete the RPL process. Once complete, this evidence will be collected, and the assessor records this evidence in the student file. The RPL documentation is collated. The assessor will then finalize their assessment decision and provides the candidate with RPL Toolkit and detailed feedback on the RPL outcomes. During these interviews, any gap training required will be identified and recorded on a training action plan and the assessor will determine if 3rd party evidence is required.

GAP TRAINING

If required.

Gap training and assessment assists with the management of transitioning students from superseded qualifications to updated versions. Gap training and assessment recognises that students are entitled to have previous study recognised if qualifications or units are superseded. This occurs through the issuing of partial credits accompanied by relevant gap training to meet the new competency requirements.
